Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
2 sticks butter
2 3/4 c. sugar
eggs
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and butter together.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour, sifted with baking powder, alternately with milk.
Add vanilla, pineapple and juice and blend well.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Place in cold oven.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back.
Mix powdered sugar, butter and 1 cup drained pineapple and heat to boiling.
Pour over cake while hot.
