White Easter Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. water
    2 c. diced smoked kielbasa
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    several peppercorns
    2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced over wedges
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. cream (room temperature), divided
    2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
    2 to 3 Tbsp. vinegar to taste
Preparation
    Bring water, kielbasa, onion, garlic, peppercorns and bay leaf to boil; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Combine about 1 tablespoon of cream with flour, then add this mixture to remaining cream. Stir into soup.
    Cook over very low heat until slightly thickened. Add vinegar to taste.
    Serve garnished with hard-cooked eggs. Serves 8.
