Mabel'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans Libby's deep brown beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 lb. ground beef
2 stems celery, chopped
2 large bell peppers, chopped
2 large onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 (18 oz.) bottle ketchup
lean parts of bacon (enough to cover top of beans)
Preparation

In a skillet over low heat brown the ground beef.
On top of the ground beef add, in the following order, the celery, bell peppers and onions and saute (stir the ground beef from underneath, leaving the chopped vegetables on top to ensure that neither the ground beef nor the vegetables are overcooked). Remove from heat and drain well (all fat must be drained).
