Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. black coffee
5 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix salt, cocoa and soda with flour and add alternately with buttermilk and coffee.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 4 layers.
