Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, frozen
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    dash of pepper
    1 qt. milk
    1/3 c. water
    dash of mace, optional
    4-5 slices pepper jack cheese
Preparation
    Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.
    In a pot, combine butter, flour, onion, and seasonings.
    Blend in milk gradually; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add broccoli and water.
    Cook until heated.
