Rhubarb Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    2 c. rhubarb (raw), chopped
Preparation
    Combine 2 cups rhubarb with 1/2 cup sugar; set aside.
    Cream together 1 1/2 cups sugar and shortening.
    Add egg, buttermilk, soda, salt, cinnamon and flour.
    Pour in greased and floured long pan.
    Sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
