Brandied Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cherries
    1 c. pineapple chunks
    1 c. pears, chopped
    1 c. peaches, chopped
Preparation
    Drain juice from all of the fruit. Put fruit in a large jar or container that seals well. Add 1 cup sugar of each cup of fruit. Let stand. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. This is so good served on pound cake.
