Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh or canned fruit
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. oleo or shortening
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Place fruit in bottom of an 8 x 11-inch pan.
    (For example, use 3 cups apples or 1 (10 to 12-ounce) package frozen raspberries.)
    Mix 3/4 cup sugar, flour, oleo, salt, baking powder and milk; drop on fruit.
    Mix together the cornstarch and 1 cup sugar; sprinkle over batter.
    Pour boiling water over all.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
