Mother'S Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 pkg. yeast
    buttermilk
Preparation
    Add yeast to small amount of warm water in a 1 cup mixing cup. Dissolve yeast.
    Then finish filling mixing cup with buttermilk. Cut Crisco into dry ingredients.
    Then add yeast/buttermilk mixture.
    Knead.
    Roll out and cut as for biscuits.
    Dip each biscuit in melted margarine and fold in half.
    Put out on cookie sheet.
    Let rise.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 until brown.
    (Should rise about 1 hour.)
