Chocolate Angel Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3 to 4 Tbsp. cold water
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 (6 pkg.) plain Hershey bars
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Sift together flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Cut in shortening until particles are the size of small peas.
    Sprinkle cold water over mixture while tossing lightly with a fork.
    Add liquid to driest particles until just moist enough to hold together.
    Form into a ball.
    Flatten to 1/2-inch thick; smooth edges.
    Roll out on floured surface to a circle 1 1/2-inch larger than inverted 9-inch pie pan.
    Put in pan.
    Prick.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Beat 2 egg whites with vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon if desired until soft mounds form.
    Add 1/2 cup sugar, gradually, beating until meringue stands in stiff glossy peaks.
    Spread on bottom and sides of baked pie shell. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly browned.
    Cool.
