Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. dark brown sugar
    2 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    6 c. pecans
Preparation
    Lay out wax paper to cool candy on.
    In large pan, place brown and white sugars and water.
    Cook over medium to medium-high heat, until mixture reaches soft ball stage.
    Stir only enough to keep from scorching.
    Use wooden spoon.
    After candy reaches soft ball stage, remove from heat and add pecans.
    Place pan back on heat and beat with the wooden spoon or hand mixer until candy becomes cloudy.
