Kraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. coarse salt
1 c. white vinegar
1 gal. water
Preparation
-
Wash and drain cabbage.
Then shred and pack in a quart jar. Put 1 hot banana pepper in center for hot kraut.
Bring water, salt, sugar and vinegar to a boil.
Pour over kraut.
Seal.
Ready to eat in one week.
