Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 oz. box strawberry jello
1 qt. strawberries
2 or 3 drops red food coloring

Preparation

Cook and stir water, sugar, salt and cornstarch until thick and clear.
Remove from heat and add 1/2 box strawberry jello.
Add food color.
Cool.
Pour over strawberries in pie shell. Refrigerate.
Cover with Cool Whip.
