Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 to 1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, beat well.
Add flour, vanilla and nuts.
Blend well.
Shape into 2-inch roll.
Wrap in waxed paper.
Chill overnight.
