Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    2 packets yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. sugar (scant)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, then cut in shortening.
    Stir in yeast and buttermilk.
    Roll out and cut into biscuits.
    (Do not have to wait to rise.)
    Cook at 500\u00b0.
