Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    1/2 stick oleo or butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch (mix with water)
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients over low heat until thick; stir constantly.
    Add cornstarch mixed with water.
    Pour pie ingredients into 9-inch baked pie shell.
