Deviled Steak Strips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. horseradish
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut beef into thin strips about 2 inches long and coat with flour.
    In treated skillet, brown meat, onion and garlic.
    Stir in 1 cup water, tomato sauce, vinegar, horseradish, mustard and pepper.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour (or until meat is tender); stirring occasionally.
    Stir in remaining 1/2 cup water, scraping browned bits from bottom of pan; heat through.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
