Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. canned milk

Preparation

Spread on cake, then brown under broiler for a few minutes.
