Eggplant Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    1 tsp. sugar, dissolved in ice water for soaking
    1 large egg
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    2 tsp. water
    3/4 c. plain cornmeal
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation
    Peel and slice eggplant into finger size pieces.
    Soak in sugared ice water 30 minutes and drain.
