Chocolate Butterscotch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening, melted
    2 1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
    3 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Add shortening to sugar and mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
    Add sifted dry ingredients, nuts, chocolate and vanilla.
    Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
    While warm, cut in 50 bars.
