Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lard
    1/2 cake yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar and lard and bring to a boil.
    Set aside to cool.
    Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.
    Add to liquid. Sift dry ingredients.
    Add one cup at a time to liquid, stirring well.
    If dough seems sticky, can use more flour.
    Let rise 3 hours.
    Knead down and put in refrigerator and use as needed.
    Let rolls rise 3 hours before baking.
    Will bake in 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
