Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef tenderloin or sirloin
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 tsp. prepared mustard
3 tsp. instant beef bouillon granulates
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sour cream
6 to 8 servings cooked rice or noodles
Preparation

Saute steak strips in 1/2 cup butter until brown. Dissolve bouillon in 1 cup water and add to meat. Add paste, mustard and salt. Simmer for 45 minutes, covered. Saute mushrooms, onions and garlic in remainder of butter until onion is tender. Combine flour and 1/2 cup water; reduce heat and add flour mixture to meat. Heat until slightly thickened. Add mushrooms and onion mixture. Stir and heat together. Just before serving, add sour cream. Heat but do not boil. Serve over rice or noodles.
