Chicken Marengo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    flour
    salt
    8 chicken breasts
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 can chicken soup
    1 soup can water
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 can mushrooms
Preparation
    Flour and lightly salt chicken.
    Brown in hot fat.
    Remove to flat casserole.
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add soup, water chestnuts and mushrooms.
    Pour over chicken.
    Cover tightly.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yields 8 servings.
