Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. onion, diced
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    7 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/4 qt. milk (hot)
    1 1/2 lb. broccoli, cut
    1 qt. chicken bouillon
    10 oz. American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine.
    Add flour, salt and pepper.
    Make a smooth paste.
    Add hot milk.
    Cook broccoli until tender in the chicken bouillon.
    Add to the flour mixture.
    Heat for serving and add the cheese; allow the cheese to melt before serving.
