Spiced Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put sugar, water, cinnamon and salt in saucepan (with buttered side).
    Cook, stirring until sugar dissolves and it starts to boil.
    Cook without stirring to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat and beat about 1 minute until creamy.
    Add vanilla and nuts (which should still be warm) and stir quickly until nuts are coated. Turn out on waxed paper and separate quickly with two forks.
