Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 large box apricot jello
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Put crushed pineapple, sugar and cream cheese in saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Boil 3 minutes or until cheese is dissolved.
    Add box of apricot jello; stir until jello is dissolved.
    Add cold water.
    Put in a bowl and refrigerate until partially thick.
    Then add Cool Whip.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
