Mom'S Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter, add 2 beaten egg yolks, plus water. Mix well.
Mix sour milk and soda.
Add to mixture.
Then add flour, salt, cocoa and vanilla.
Beat the two egg whites that were set aside and fold into cake batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
Ice with Brown Sugar Icing.
