Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Chill dough.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    You may need a bit more.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
