Easy Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 large can peaches
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Melt butter in baking dish.
Meanwhile, combine 1 cup sugar, flour and milk.
Add cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour this batter over melted butter.
Then empty entire can of peaches and juice on top of batter.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and bake 50 to 60 minutes.
