Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. cornmeal (use only white)
    3 eggs
    1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Stir meal into rapidly boiling milk.
    Cook until very thick, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
    Remove from heat and allow to cool.
    The mixture will be cold and stiff.
    Add well beaten eggs, salt, baking powder and melted butter.
    Beat with electric beater for 15 minutes.
    Pour into well-greased casserole.
    Bake 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
