Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    8 slices bread or equivalent rolls, biscuits, etc. (French bread makes the best)
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla or other flavoring
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grease 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole. Pour beaten eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla into casserole and mix. Add bread; allow to soak 10 to 15 minutes, then stir well, breaking up bread. Add melted butter and stir. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until center is done. Serve with chocolate sauce, whipped cream or any other topping.
