Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. pineapple or fruit
    6 oz. size jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Pour fruit in pot and bring to a boil.
    Add jello and mix well. Let cool.
    Add buttermilk and Cool Whip.
    Pour fruit in Cool Whip mixture.
    Mix and put in casserole dish.
    Chill.
