Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1 c. celery
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1/2 pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. crisp bacon
3 hard-boiled eggs
2 tomatoes
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Break lettuce into bottom of a large bowl.
Cover with thin layer of celery chopped fine.
Put water chestnuts over celery. Sprinkle with peas.
Ice with 2 cups mayonnaise with 2 tablespoons sugar added.
Crumble bacon over top.
Slice eggs real thin over top.
Slice tomatoes thin and lay on eggs.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top.
Cover with foil and chill.
