Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf firm, unsliced bread
    1 stick oleo
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1/4 lb. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Trim crusts and cut bread in one-inch cubes.
    Melt oleo and cheese in double
    boiler until rarebit consistency; remove from heat and add egg
    whites.
    Working
    quickly, dip cubes of bread into cheese mixture,
    coating
    well.
    Place
    cubes,
    not touching, on a
    greased
    cookie sheet.
    Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    May be frozen.
