Pickled Peppers(Makes 4 Pints) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    bell peppers
    banana peppers
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    8 cloves garlic or 1 large onion
Preparation
    Let stand 5 minutes,
    then boil 5 minutes.
    In each jar add 1/2 teaspoon
    salt\tand
    1\tteaspoon
    oil.\tPour
    vinegar solution over peppers
    that\thave been drained and packed into jars.
    Hot water bath for 5 minutes.
