Italian Fried Peppers With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 peppers, cut lengthwise into 1-inch strips
    2 medium yellow onions, sliced
    1 garlic clove, minced
    salt and freshly ground pepper
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Heat the oil in a heavy skillet; saute peppers and onions until onions are pale gold, about 5 minutes.
    Stir; cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, shaking the pan from time to time.
    Uncover; cook 2 minutes more.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice.
    Serves 4.
