Hot Beef Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz cream cheese (softened)
    1 c sour cream
    3 oz dried beef, rinsed and finely chopped
    1/3 c chopped green pepper
    1/3 c diced onion
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 c granulated sugar
    2 c vinegar
    2 c water
    1 lemon sliced thin
    1 Tbsp whole cinnamon
    1 tsp whole cloves
    1 tsp allspice
Preparation
    Cover beets with mixture and simmer for 15 minutes. Seal in hot jars.
