Spiced Chocolate Zucchini Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. grated, unpeeled zucchini
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    In large bowl, cream shortening, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg until light.
    Add eggs and mix well. Stir in zucchini and vanilla; mix well.
    Alternately add dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat until blended after each addition.
    Pour batter into pans and bake for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Let stand for at least 5 minutes before removing from pans.
