Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. thinly sliced apples
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. oats
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Toss apples with lemon juice and water in shallow bowl (2-quart baking dish).
    In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Mix to blend thoroughly with pastry blender; cut in softened butter, resemble coarse crumbs.
    Mix in nuts.
    Crumble over apples.
    (Don't pack.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Brown lightly.
