Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pecan halves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    3 eggs
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place pecan halves in bottom of pie shell.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Mix in corn syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Gently pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0
    for 15 minutes.
    Lower temperature to 350\u00b0
    and cook an additional 30 minutes.
