Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large clams
    potatoes, diced
    onions, diced
    celery
    peas (fresh or canned)
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. tomatoes
    pinch of baking soda
    parsley
Preparation
    Grind clams.
    Add clams, potatoes and onions; cook.
    Cook celery until well done (separately).
    Add to clam mixture.
    Add peas; cook until tender.
    Add milk and thicken; do not cook after adding milk, it curdles.
    Heat tomatoes and add soda.
    Put to soup last.
    Add parsley.
