Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/4 c. red food coloring
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream sugar and Crisco.
Add beaten eggs, coloring and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients 3 times (not soda).
Add alternately with buttermilk to sugar mixture.
Beat in soda and vinegar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Use 3 greased and floured cake pans (round).
