Almond-Date Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. blanched almonds, toasted and chopped
    1 c. unsalted butter (room temperature)
    1/4 c. honey
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    6 large eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped dates
    vanilla ice cream
    orange chocolate sauce
Preparation
