Cabbage Marinara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef (lean)
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cooked rice (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. coarsely shredded cabbage (1 small head)
    2 c. canned tomato soup
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is no longer pink; drain.
    Stir in rice and seasonings.
    Spread 3 cups cabbage in 2-quart baking dish.
    Cover with meat mixture and sprinkle with remaining 3 cups cabbage.
    Pour undiluted soup over top.
