Ingredients

4 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put sugar, syrup and water in pan.
Stir until it boils.
Wash down sides of pan with a buttered cloth dipped in cold water.
Boil until a soft ball forms.
Take from heat; add coconut and butter. Stir just enough to mix.
Pour in buttered pan.
When cold, make into balls.
Lay on wax paper after dipping in melted chocolate. May also roll in sugar.
