Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon, cut in 1/4-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. tomato puree or leftover sauce
    2 cloves garlic
    pepper to taste
    3 to 4 c. peeled, chopped potatoes
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 to 3 qt. chicken stock or water and bouillon
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 Tbsp. basil
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    4 oz. broken spaghetti
Preparation
    Brown bacon.
    Add next 10 ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Add green beans, peas and spaghetti and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
