Orange And Red Onion Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium red onion, sliced thin
    3 bunches romaine or Boston lettuce
    4 large navel oranges (without membrane)
    1/3 c. wine vinegar
    2 tsp. sugar
    2/3 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt and vinegar until dissolved.
    Whisk in oil. Toss onions, oil and lettuce together.
    Toss with enough dressing to coat.
    Serve immediately.
