Stir-Fried Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. green beans
    2 dried mushrooms
    1/2 c. chicken or beef broth
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    oil
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    3 Tbsp. sherry
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cut beans into 2-inch pieces.
    Wash and dry well.
    Soak mushrooms in boiling water for 15 minutes; squeeze out water. Slice thinly.
    Stir-fry garlic in oil for 30 seconds.
    Add beans and mushrooms, stir-fry until beans turn a darker green. Add sherry, soy sauce and sugar; cook, covered, for 2 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in broth and pour over beans.
    Stir-fry until sauce thickens.
