Cherry Coke Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (20 oz.) cans dark pitted cherries
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jell-O gelatin
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. Coca-Cola
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation
    Heat cherries and their juice to boiling.
    Remove from heat and add Jell-O.
    Stir.
    Add pineapple, juice and all.
    Pour Coke and nuts.
    Pour into oiled 6-cup mold.
    Let cool; then refrigerate at least 2 hours or until set.
    Serves 4 to 6.
