Heavenly Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. heavy cream
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In 2-quart glass measuring cup, combine sugar, cream, syrup and butter.
    Microwave on High 5 minutes.
    Stir well until sugar dissolves.
    Microwave on High 12 to 13 minutes or until mixture reaches 246\u00b0.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts.
